Obituary for Daniel Sterling Sr. Daniel Sterling Sr., 85, of Keansburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 28th, at home. He was born in Forty Fort, Pennsylvania; and lived most of his life in Keansburg. Daniel worked as a shipwright for Belford Marine Railway; he was an outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting and working on boats.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; Janet Sterling of Keansburg; his son; Daniel Sterling Jr. of Jackson; his daughter; Susan Sterling of Keansburg; two grandchildren; Elizabeth McGowan and Daniel Sterling III of Jackson; and his great grandchild Scott McGowan of Jackson. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, September 1st, from 2-4 pm at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg.
