Danny L. Murphy, 71 of Newnan, GA passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. He was born May 23, 1947 in Newnan, GA to the late Nathan M. Murphy and Olivia Washington Murphy. He was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas N. Murphy.

Danny retired from Delta Airlines after 32 years, he served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan, loved to work in his yard, but more than anything was his love for his family and his pride and joy was his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Murphy; daughters, Allison (Paul) Murphy Robinson and Sheri (Parrish) Duncan; grandchildren, Trevor Chesley Robinson, Olivia Faith Robinson,, Allison Grace Duncan and Hannah Parrish Duncan; siblings, David (Peggy) Murphy, Debbie Olivia Johnson; sister-in-law, Jean Murphy and his beloved dog Sophie.
