OBITUARY Danny Smith June 29, 1961 – July 26, 2018 Danny Smith of Ashville passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the age of 57. He is preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Smith; and his nephew, James Joseph “J.J.” Smith. Left to cherish Danny’s memory are his loving wife, Wanda Lee Smith of Ashville, Alabama; three daughters, Susan Crawford of Moody, Alabama; Jennie Burns of Greensport, Alabama; and Erica Leonard of Pell City, Alabama; along with four step-children; his father, Perry O. Smith of Trussville, Alabama; Four brothers, Perry Smith of Trussville, Alabama; James Smith of Leeds, Alabama; Mark Smith of Trussville, Alabama; and Michael Smith of Pell City, Alabama; one sister, Ganie Smith of Birmingham, Alabama; and fifteen beautiful grandchildren.

Visitation for Danny will be on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with a service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery in Trussville, Alabama.
