OBITUARY Frances Allen Thomas Owen December 8, 1930 – July 21, 2018 Frances Allen Thomas Owen, 87, of Trussville, AL went to be with the Lord on July 21, 2018. She was born to the late Wilton (Tom) and Margaret Allen in Birmingham, AL on December 8, 1930. She was preceded in passing by her husbands Samuel E. Thomas and John (Buddy) Owen; children James E. Thomas, MD and stillborn daughter.

Frances is survived by her sisters Betty Cooper and Margaret (Marion) Odeneal; grandchildren Jonathon (Tonya) Thomas, James (Chanel) Thomas, and Brandy (John) Weismann; great-grandchildren Dalton, Dylan, Taylor, Ellen, Sarah, Charlotte, Bailey, and Gage; in-laws Joe (Ann) Thomas and Sidney (Sue) Thomas; aunt Evelyn Skotzky; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of East Lake, Trinity Presbyterian Church, and current member of First United Methodist Church of Trussville. Visitation Thursday, July 26 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Trussville.

Service at 11:00 AM officiated by Dr. Bill Ethridge. Procession to Forest Hill Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to First United Methodist Church of Trussville or the American Heart Fund.
