OBITUARY David Mulkin January 25, 1958 – July 15, 2018 David Mulkin, age 60, of Clay, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018. David was born on January 25, 1958 in Picayune, Mississippi to the late Shirley and Allen Mulkin. He was preceded in passing by his parents and his infant brother, Ronnie Mulkin.

David is survived by his son Cody Mulkin; his sister Terri Grimsley and her husband Jim; his niece Brittany Grimsley and nephew Scott Grimsley; his great-niece that he adored, Bella Grimsley; his darling Aunt Ruth and Uncle Johnny Franklin; numerous cousins, and his hunting brothers of the Lil’ Hatchet hunting club. David loved his family, both biological and those he considered family- his hunting buddies. He loved to hunt and fish and was an avid fan of Alabama football (Roll Tide!

). David worked as a welder and later as a fabricator for Samuel Inc He was known for his sarcastic, yet loving, sense of humor and will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A visitation for David will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, Alabama, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale, Alabama. In honor of David, guests are invited and encouraged to wear camouflage and Alabama attire to his celebration of life services.
