OBITUARY Dareth Sue Harris September 24, 1951 – July 24, 2018 Dareth Sue Harris (nee Metz), age 66 of Ravenna, gained her wings on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 24, 1951, in Summersville, West Virginia. Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years William Ray Harris on September 12, 2012.

Sue was also preceded by her mother and step-father Marjorie (nee Taylor) and Orville Walker, her dear sister Pam Miller, and her brother Charles, as well as her much loved companions Bandit and Blackjack. Sue is survived by her siblings: Doug (Terri) Metz, Beverly Wright, and Melanie Taylor all of Spencer, WV, and her father Donald Eugene Metz. Also surviving are her devoted niece Alisa Miller and her caring nephew Keith Miller, along with numerous other nieces and nephews.

Sue was an avid scuba diver and a passionate traveler. She considered her diving and travel buddies her adopted family, including: Brian & Karen Jenior, Jim & Debbie Jones, Dorne Chadsey, Kevin & Marcia Zwick, Janice Clark, Ruth & John Cogar, as well as many others. Sue’s career path included many diverse areas such as office work at Revco, factory work at Oak Rubber, and working for the Portage County Sheriff.

Along these journeys she acquired numerous dear friends who she cherished. Friends and family will be received Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM with a funeral service officiated by Minister William Hopkins beginning at 11:00 AM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
