Obituary for Darlene Brenda Brewster Darlene Brenda Brewster, passed away the 30th day of May, 2018, at 11:01pm, of Athens, Tennessee. She was the bright age of 54. She is preceded in death by her parents James Arthur Buchanan and Mary Lee Bradley Buchanan.

She was also a member of the First United Church of Christ. She is survived by her children: Johnathan W. and wife Tiffany Buchanan, Tiffany D. Brewster, Yashica M. Brewster, Jamie Brewster. Her grandchildren: Shanese Holbrook, Tiarra Holbrook, Keyshawn W. Buchanan, Malayiah A. Chenault, J’Vaughn Ricketts Jr., Jazlyn Z. Ricketts, Dorian J. Brewster-Thomas, Maliya G. Brewster.

Her sisters: Olivia L. Noland, Mary “Sue” Buchanan, Cecil M. Hurst, Arlene L. Buchanan. Her brothers: James A. Buchanan Jr., Robert Long, George L. Buchanan, Luther S. Buchanan. Special Mention: All the Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews and a host of beloved friends and children.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 P.M. in Kyker’s Chapel with Rev. Archie Smart officiating. Interment to follow in the Hammonds Cemetery, in Athens.
