Obituary for Opal Macon Ellis Opal Macon Ellis age 83, of Sweetwater, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, July 29, 2018. Opal loved her family and was generous to everyone. She had a special kind of and a bond with her great-grandson Rylan.

She had a very strong faith in God and was of the Church of God faith. She was a very talented and artist woman that had several careers and passions throughout her life. Proceeded in death by her parents, Raymond and Jessie Mae Malone Crawford, an infant sister, sister and brother-in law, Virginia and Rube Waldroup and brother-in-law, Charles Martin.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Paul Edward Ellis, daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Jimmy Nokes , granddaughter and husband, Jennifer and Daniel Keller, great-grandson and great-granddaughter, Rylan and Addison “Addie Mae” Keller all of Sweetwater, sister , Helen Martin, brother and sister-in-law Don and Ginny Crawford, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM in Kyker’s Chapel with Rev.

Don Logan officiating. The family and friends will meet on Thursday, August 2, 2018 10:30 AM at Sweetwater Memorial Park for graveside service and interment. Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater, is in charge of the arrangements.
