Daryl Bruce Moss, 66, of Cambria, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Integrity Healthcare of Herrin. His wishes were to be cremated. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.

Bruce was born September 27, 1952, in Carbondale, to Henry Mark and Venita Jane (Hammontree) Moss. He is survived by his son, Mark (Charli) Moss of Herrin; daughter, Kristina (Jeremy) Sullivan of Cambria; grandchildren, Madisyn (Justice) McPherson, Micahel Moss, Hannah and Miley Sullivan, and Caleb Douthitt; a great-grandson who is due to arrive soon, Emmerysn; brother-in-law, Steve Morse; and many nieces and nephews. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sharon Morse.

He was a corrections officer at the Williamson County Jail for 10 years. Bruce had also worked on the line for Scheller Globe Manufacturing. Bruce was an avid Harley rider.

Riggin-Pillatsch & Burke Funeral Home in Carterville is assisting the family with cremation services.
