Daryl D. Baker Sr. 68 formerly of Grapeville died Saturday December 15, 2018 in Princess Ann Hospital, Virginia Beach, VA. He was born December 23, 1949 in Greensburg a son of the late Warren and Frances (Jones) Baker. He was a veteran of Vietnam War serving with the US Army.

He was a member of VFW 392 of Virginia Beach, American Legion Post 981 of South Greensburg and Polish Brotherhood of White Eagle of Jeannette. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father in law and mother in law George and Bertha Ruschaupt, his sister in law Barbara Ann Ruschaupt and nephew William Ruschaupt Jr He is survived by his wife Linda (Ruschaupt) Baker, a son Daryl D. Baker Jr. and his wife Michelle of Virginia Beach, VA, two grandchildren Ashleigh and Andrew Baker, a brother in law William Ruschaupt Sr. of Jeannette, a brother Rick Baker and his wife Kathy of South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Mason-Gelder Funeral Home Inc. 201 N. First St. Jeannette. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment with military rites will follow in Jeannette Memorial Park.
