Obituary for David Alan Luecke Mr. David Alan Luecke, 59, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in California. He was born in Seymour on January 31, 1959 to the late Robert Eugene and Evelyn Henrietta Louise (Pollert) Luecke. Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Monday, April 23 at 1 pm with Revs.

Ralph Blomenberg, Philip Bloch, and Jimmy Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday from 2-8 pm and at the church on Monday from 11 am until time of service.

He was a graduate of Seymour High School and attended Ball State University and was a member of SAE fraternity. He was a co-owner and vice president of Luecke Audio Video and Appliance in Seymour. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served in numerous positions, including chairman of the Elders, the audio video committee and taught a singles parenting class.

He was very dedicated to his community, serving as Scout Master for 10 years. His interests included tennis, classic cars, hockey, music, Indy car and NHRA drag car racing. He loved his dogs, family and friends.

On January 20, 2018, he married the love of his life, Julie (Zickler) Luecke, she survives. He is survived by his wife; children, Adam (Bridget) Luecke and Daniel Luecke; grandchildren, Meagon, Samantha, Jennifer and Lauren; brothers, Don (Audrey) Luecke and Jim (Tina) Luecke; sister, Joan (Doug) Nichols; several nieces and nephews; as well as beloved mother-in-law, Sandra Zickler, sister-in-law Lisa Hackman and brother-in-law Craig (Heather) Zickler. He is preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Bob Zickler.
