David Baker aka District Of Self, 48, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 3, 1970 in Louisville, Ky. He was an author, a craftsman, enjoyed creating beauty, and was a loving son, brother and uncle.

David was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Corbet Baker. Left to cherish his memory is his mother Marcia Elizabeth Baker; brothers Steven Todd (April Hartford) Baker and Daniel Thomas (Amie Baltes) Baker; and nephew Evan Scott Baker. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday January 16, 2019 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, “in St. Matthews”.
