OBITUARY Velma Jo Herrensmith February 4, 1942 – January 7, 2019 Play Tribute Movie Velma Jo Herrensmith, 76, passed away January 7, 2019. She retired from National Tobacco and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Velma Jo was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Kenneth R. Herrensmith. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Damon (Jennifer) Herrensmith; grandchildren, William and Abigail Jo Herrensmith; sisters, Rosetta Cox, Carolyn Temple, and Anita Batts; brother, Rodney (Teresa) Morgan; niece, Kristen (Chris) Mohr; and several other loving family and friends. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Evergreen Dignity Memorial Chapel with visitation on Wednesday from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
