Obituary for Betty Jane Mueller Betty Jane Mueller, 87, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019. She was born May 30, 1931 in Louisville, a daughter of the late Fred Cook and Minnadah Carpenter. Betty was a 1950 graduate of Presentation Academy.

She was an LPN at Our Lady of Peace Hospital, as well as a health teacher at Shawnee High School and Presentation Academy. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert Lee Woosley and James Thomas Mueller; step-father, Ellis Carpenter and daughter, Diana Lee Woosley. Betty is survived by a son, Robert Lee Woosley, II (Debbie Mudd); step-children, Greg Mueller (Alicia) and Jan Anita Richlick (Mike); granddaughters, Jennifer Barnes (Adam), Julianne Woosley (Yaw), Robyn Woosley (Jon); step-grandson, Chris Goodman and great-grandchildren, Eva, Ally, Giana and Jillian Barnes, Jacob and Naomi Walsh, Mylo Kofi Antwi-Adjei and Kingston Clark.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 3345 Lexington Road with private burial in New Castle Cemetery, New Castle, KY. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, “in St. Matthews”. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Kentucky or Alzheimer’s Association.
