Obituary for James J. “Jim” Paul James J. “Jim” Paul, 70, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 4, 2019. He was born January 5, 1948, a son of Elizabeth A. “Libby” Cloutier Paul and the late Joseph Raymond Paul, Sr. Jim was a mechanic at Baumer’s Quality Automotive until his retirement. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was a wonderful, kind man.

Jim had a passion for music. More than likely if there was a song you were looking for, chances are he had it. He is survived by his best friend and love of his life, Brenda J. Payne Paul; mother and step-father, Libby Lange (Leroy); siblings, Ann Siefker (Steve), Jack Paul (Vicki) and Joe Paul; 3 nieces, 2 nephews; sister-in-law, Beverly Carrico (Joe) of Owensboro and Canine Companion Duncan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2019 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, “in St. Matthews”. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Louisville Metro Animal Shelter.
