OBITUARY Mary Alice Wells September 14, 1940 – January 2, 2019 Mary Alice Wells Louisville – Entered into rest on Monday, December 31st. She had been a teacher with the Head Start program with JCPS and retired as a nurse with Frazier Rehab. Mrs. Wells was preceded in rest by her husband, Gerald Zane Wells.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Hanley (Phil), Amy Shults (Bob), and Jill Wells Specchierla (Tony); seven grandchildren, Jacob and Whitney Hanley, Meredith Sterrett, Erin Holloway, Nathan and Robert Shults, and Caroline Specchierla; eight great-grandchildren, Kadence and Willow Young, Cruz and Banner Hanley, Harper Briening, Hayden Hanley, and Cooper and Graham Holloway; and a sister, Carole Evans. Her funeral will be at 11am Saturday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Bonnieville Memory Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 3pm until 8pm and Saturday from 9am until the time of service.
