Obituary for David Clyde Abernethy David Clyde Abernethy, 75, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Pratt Regional Medical Center. He was born September 11, 1942 in Arkansas City to Forest Clyde and Garth Vondell (Robertson) Abernethy. David worked as a body and paint man.

He enjoyed making things like jewelry, walking sticks and working with leather. He is survived by his daughters, Krista Wilson of Pratt and Lori (Cory) Hughes of Burwell, Nebraska; brother, Forest Douglas Abernethy of Arkansas; and grandchildren, Samantha and Timothy Hughes and Madalynn and Taye Wilson. David was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of David Clyde Abernethy please visit our Sympathy Store.
