OBITUARY David F. Jones Sr. November 6, 1954 – November 9, 2018 David Franklin Jones Sr., age 64, of Dover, North Carolina passed away on Friday November 9, 2018. David is survived by wife Cathy Jones of Dover, mother Sadie Mae Walker of Jacksonville, son Roger Jones of NY, daughter Ellie Mae Jones of NY, grandsons Tyler, Austin, and Nathen Jones of NY, one granddaughter Kurisah Gray of NY, one great grandson Bryson Jones of NY, two brothers Roger Jones and wife Odessa Jones of Vanceboro, John Ray Jones and wife Nancy Jones of Vanceboro, three sisters Kathy Faw of Jacksonville, Becky Akers and husband Jeff Akers of NY, Patsy Fisher and husband Jay of CT. Nephews Michael, Dustin, Tommy and Nieces Jennifer, Michelle, Shannon, Crystal, Brittany.

Preceded in death, father Elmo Jones, son David Jones Jr. (DJ), nephew Jodie Ray. Family will receive friends Sunday November 11 at Cotten Funeral Home from 5-7 PM. Graveside service Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 2 PM.
