Obituary for David J. “Dave” McNair David J. “Dave” McNair, 42, of Grand Island died on Friday, December 28, 2018. Memorial service and celebration of David’s life will be March 16th at All Faiths Funeral Home. (Time will be determined.

) Daniel Naranjo will officiate. David was born January 10, 1976 in McCook, NE, the son of David and Rhonda (Arnold) McNair. He attended elementary schools in Grand Island and Mitchell then Junior and Senior High School in Grand Island.

His latest employment was with GameStop in Grand Island, a job he loved. An avid online gamer, David was a fan of WOW. He was also a sports enthusiast, a loyal supporter of his teams…Huskers, Yankees, Packers, Celtics and Nebraska Danger.

Those who will cherish his memory include his father and step-mother, David and Cindy McNair of Omaha; his siblings, Jacob McNair (Devin DeGreif) of Eugene, OR, Stacy (Wade) Nez and their children, Iziah, Zaden and Aiyana of Grand Island, Tyler (Christina) McNair and their children, January and Boe of Hudson, WI, Tucker McNair and his children, Landen and Amerrah of Scottsbluff, and Sara (Alex) Erickson and their children, Emelia with nephew on the way of Grand Island; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and loving, faithful, four legged friend, PJ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rhonda; paternal grandparents, David J. and Joyce McNair; maternal grandparents, Robert and Rosemary Arnold; and step-grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Barr. Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
