David J. McGinnis, 61, of Hopewell Twp. , passed away unexpectedly, Saturday June 16, 2018 in Heritage Valley, Beaver. Born June 11, 1957 in Sewickley, he was a son of the late Henry J. “Hank and Shirley (Miller) McGinnis.

David retired as a letter carrier from the United States Postal Service in Upper St. Clair, with 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Crescent, and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Hopewell Twp. , where he served as… Read More » an usher.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 37 years, Grace (Davidson) McGinnis; a daughter, Deborah McGinnis, who was his greatest joy; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sue and Al Bouman, Bill and Jackie Davidson, and Arthur Davidson and Diane Stoll; two nephews, Bill and Jack; a niece, Kristy, and many loving cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel McGinnis, a sister, Deborah McGinnis, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edith and Bill Davidson. Friends will be received Wednesday from 4 to 8pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, Pa 15001.

The Mass of Christian Burial time will be announced tommow. Dave was a devoted son and husband, and a loving father, who provided his family with lots of love, and everything they ever wanted. He will be deeply missed by many.
