David J. Roberts, 64, of Charleroi died Saturday, March 2, 2019 in AHN Jefferson Hospital. Born in North Charleroi on October 16, 1954, he was the son of the late Alfred and Genevieve “Jennie” (Danko) Roberts. David was a 1972 Graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School.

An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed going to Potter County, Bedford County and West Virginia. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1972 to 1976. He is survived by his children, Melanie Mullins of York, PA, Ryan Keith of Belle Vernon, Stephanie Roberts of White Oak, Megan Heckman (Zach Jupin) of Belle Vernon, and Jessica Roberts (Matt Bane) of Donora; and grandchildren, Christopher and Cierra Eckenrode and Robert, Jonathan and MacKenzie Keith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Alfred Jr., and Chuckie; and sister Rosetta. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www. jamesstumpfuneralhome.com where a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
