David’s Obituary David Joseph Meeker, Galena, MO, son of Glenn and Mary Eleen (Murphy) Meeker, was born on June 21, 1936 in Clinton, IA and passed away on March 7, 2019, at the age of 82. David was an over the road truck driver and owned his own trucking company. He had lived in the area since 1972 coming from DeWitt, IA.

David was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Jay Meeker; a daughter, Lori Roushe; a brother, Glenn Meeker; a grandson, Tyler Lee Allen and a great granddaughter, Madison Nicole Tate. Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Meeker of Galena, MO; two sons, Noah Daniel Meeker of Galena, MO and Kaleb Tyler Meeker of Galena, MO; a daughter, Karen Lynn Berry and her husband, Charles Edward of Galena, MO; a brother, Edward J Meeker and his wife, Sandra J of Galena, MO; a sister, Jean Van Orsdal of Wisconsin; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, MO with Minister Ron Rasmussen officiating.

Cremation was under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Home, Kimberling City, MO.
