David Lee Bowman, Sr., 81 of Searcy, died Monday, February 18, 2019. David was born October 12, 1937 in Judsonia, Arkansas, the son of Eugene and Viryl Bowman. David is survived by eight sons, David Jr, Bruce, Brian, Kerry, Kyle (Chasity Bowman and Wesley Beasely and Derek Young; seven daughters, Verla Edwards (Terry), Mary Washington (Clinton), Yvonne Parker (Riley), Donna Young, Toni Rose (Alfonso), Jennifer Beasley, and Deneita Gamble; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

He is also survived by two former spouses, Lillian Baker and Alma Wilson. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Viryl Bowman and two sons, Morris Bowman and Herbert Williams. David was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be Saturday February 23rd at 10 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. No visitation is scheduled. Viewing is available before the service.
