James Wright Franklin, 86, of Judsonia, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at his home. He was born April 9, 1932 in Bald Knob to the late Benjamin L. Franklin and Daisy (Hendrickson) Watkins. James was an Army Veteran, retired from Kohler, and attended the Apostolic Church of Judsonia.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Grace Ann (Collier) Franklin; children, Tony Franklin (Mary Jane), Mattie Fagan (Mike), Dennis Graham and Robert Franklin; siblings, Mary Ann Hannah, Martha Ray Wallace, Linda Watson, Sue Clark, and Joyce Burrow; 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, B.L. and Rosina Franklin and Daisy and Ted Watkins; daughters, Rebecca Franklin, Mary Franklin, and Tammy Sloan; grandson, Jerome Graham; siblings, Lee Hamm, Virginia Sterling, Bonnie Lee Martin, Floyd Watkins, Winford Watkins, Johnnie Mae Shaver and Billie Hendrickson. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 9 at the Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob.

Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia. www.
