Martha Nell Edwards, 95, of Hot Springs died Thursday, March 7, 2019. She was born September 3, 1923 in Pocahontas to the late Frank and Winnie James Edwards. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from Oakdale Nursing Home.

Martha was of the Baptist faith and was, for many years, a member of First Baptist churches of Judsonia, Little Rock, and Texarkana. She is survived by her only son, David Edwards (Annette); two grandchildren, Turner and Daniel Edwards (Brittney); one great-grandchild, Nora Edwards; two Brothers, Frank and Dan Ellis; and two sisters, Fern Koonce and Louise Simpson. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Edwards; and siblings, Percy and Russell Ellis, Ann Wallace, Fannie Broadway, and Mary Simpson.

Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery of Judsonia. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob-Judsonia.
