Ola Mae Sutter, age 91 of Pleasant Plains, died Saturday, March 2, 2019 in Batesville. She was born August 3, 1927 to Archie Griffis and Lilly Algood Griffis. She is survived by two sons, Junior Dean Sutter and wife Rosa Lea of Pleasant Plains, Finis Ray Sutter and wife Michelle of Pleasant Plains; six grandchildren, Shannon Ray Sutter and wife Nancy of Pleasant Plains, Brian Junior Sutter and wife Tamera of Bald Knob, Crystal Gale Sutter of Batesville, Penny Lorene Sutter and husband Heath of Hensley, Bradley Dean Sutter and wife Kim of Bay, Alyssa Hope Sutter of Pleasant Plains; 13 great-grandchildren, Shyanna Simmons of Batesville, Ashlynn Treadway of Newark, Stacy Treadway of Sulfer Rock, Kaeli Sutter of California, Madison Lea Sutter of Bay, Nathan Dean Sutter of Bay, Nathaniel Kane Craven of Georgia, Aaron Hamilton of Searcy, Kristin Allison of Bald Knob, Tanner Knatcal Sutter of Pleasant Plains, tyler Knatcal of Pleasant Plains, Sarah Allison of Bald Knob, Levi Allison of Conway; three great-great-grandchildren, Sutton Mae-Ann Simmons of Batesville, Corbin Neal Simmons of Batesville, Abby Russell of Batesville; seven nieces, Betty Bates and husband Foye of Judsonia, Mary Middleton and husband Laddie of Locust Grove, Wreathie Cohrs of Batesville, Linda Duncan and husband Dwight of Bradford, Marcella Ferguson of Texas, Jeanette Bell of Florida, Mary Bell of Florida; five nephews, Arley Hinson of Florida, Billy Henson of Florida, Donald Ferguson of Florida, Larry Ferguson of Illinois, Roger Griffis of California; heartfelt friends, Danny, Linda and Michelle McGlothlin of Bradford, Lorene Lunsford of Cushman; and many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Lilly Griffis; husband, Vernie Dean Sutter; one son, Richard Ray Sutter, seven brothers, Henry Griffis, Grover Griffis, Jeff Griffis, Howard Griffis, John Griffis, Cecil Griffis, James Griffis; three sisters, Goldie Ferguson, Delphi Manley, Christine “Tiner” Henson; and five nieces, Janie Cqarter, Louise Daggett, Annie Mae Ferguson, Erma Lee Hendershot, and Verna Lee Hendershot. Visitation is Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home.
