Jack William Arnold, age 88 of Searcy, died Sunday May 26, 2019 in Searcy. He was born May 31, 1930 in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Wilburn Edward Arnold and Amy Stroud Arnold. He worked as a teacher and was a member of College Church of Christ.

He is survived by one son, Mark Arnold and wife Irma of Flower Mound, Texas; three daughters, Linda Barden and husband Bill of Searcy, Karen Hogle and husband Brian of Atlanta, Georgia, Jackie Hulsey and husband Andy of Orlando, Florida; six grandchildren, Joshua Arnold of Pensacola, Florida, Daniel Arnold and wife Micah of Carrollton, Texas, Samuel Arnold of Flower Mound, Audrey Meade and husband Paul of Cincinnati, Ohio, Benjamin Hogle of Atlanta, Lindsey Hogle of Atlanta; two step-grandchildren, Dr. Gregg Barden and wife Elisa of Searcy, Kelly Barden and wife Kacy of Searcy; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Della Robbins of Austin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Amy Arnold; wife Marilyn Arnold; sister, Betty Henderson, and brother, Basil Arnold. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at White County Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.
