Phyllis Eyvonne Briggs Wuttke, age 89 of Greers Ferry, died Tuesday, April 23 in Sherwood, Arkansas. She was born August 5, 1929 at Whitehall, Wisconsin to Charles and Hazel Briggs. She worked for the Federal Department of Agriculture in Iowa.

Her title was USDA-FSA Program Specialist for Debuque County and the State of Iowa. She was very proud of her job which she retired from after 25 years. She also belonged to the Eastern Star for many years.

She was very passionate and proud of her title of Top Worthy Matron. She was an avid golfer and bowler in her younger years and loved living on the lake at Greers Ferry. She is survived by one son, Timothy Charles Paine of Greers Ferry; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Robert Paine, Clifford Wuttke; and two sisters, Margaret Johnson and Berniece Wanquist. She will be deeply missed by all. Services will be announced at a later date.
