Daniel Bubbus, 77, of Searcy died Monday, April 1. He was born June 7, 1941 in Little Rock, the son of Gus and Sarah Bubbus. Daniel is survived by his wife, Margie; two sons, Danny and his sons, Daniel Lee, Christian Boyd Bubbus and Tyler Kennedy, and Jerry Anthony Burks and his wife and sons Steven and Tony Jr. and his children, Kinley and Barron; one brother, David; one sister, Martha.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings. Daniel is retired from the railroad, and owned and operated Huckleberrys restaurant for 30 years. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home of Searcy.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Honey Hill Cemetery. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Daniel Bubbus please visit our Sympathy Store.
