Delores Ann Smith, 74, of Bald Knob, died Monday, May 27, 2019 at her home. She was born January 13, 1945 in Corning, Arkansas and moved to St. Louis, Missouri as a child where she resided until 1997. She loved her children and grandchildren more than life itself and could out cook anyone on earth.

She enjoyed dancing, especially the Jitterbug, and had a love for gardening. She retired from J.C. Penney in Searcy after many years of employment. She is survived by her husband, Troy Smith; daughters, Sherry Lewis of Jonesboro, Kim Smith of El Dorado, Kansas and Theresa Zieber (Blake) of St. Augustine, Florida; siblings, Linda Thompson of Bald Knob, Donnie Fowler of Missouri, Robert Fowler of Arizona, John Bell of Missouri, Richie Fowler of Missouri and Vickie Fowler of Missouri; grandchildren, Ryan Lee of Florida, Breanna Coates of Florida, Jordan Lee of Indiana, Lindsey Lewis of Newport, Madeline Lewis of Newport and Katie Lewis of Newport; great-grandchildren, Adalee Seuell, William Seuell and Rosalee Coates.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Jean Byrd; father and step-mother, Charles and Virginia Fowler; brother, Charlie Fowler; sister, Anita Fowler. Services will be conducted on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery by Powell Funeral Home, Bald Knob – Judsonia. www.
