Lonie Lady Paul, 95, of Thompsonville, Illinois, formerly of Augusta, died Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Benton, Illinois. She was born October 10, 1923 in Carlisle to the late James and Lela (Sanders) Brown. She is survived by her children, Shirley London and William Doyle Paul; grandchildren, Ronald Schwartz, Carolynn Lundry, Natalie Paul, Jennifer Blackwell, Jessica Paul, Melanie Foiles, Christopher Paul and Ryan Paul; 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; niece, Eula Mae Brown and a nephew, Paul Lindsey Brown.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Woodrow Paul; son, Michael Eddie Paul and grandsons, Charles William Schwartz and Brian Paul. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in Augusta with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in August Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob-Judsonia.
