David Lee Deckard, 69, of Scottsville, KY passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Med Center Health in Bowling Green, KY. The Tompkinsville, KY native was a former employee of Paige Tool & Die and a Viet Nam U. S. Army veteran. He was a son of the late Bewlie Deckard and Ruby Deckard.

He is survived by his wife: Karen Deckard, Scottsville, KY; 3 sons: Joshua Deckard (Bailey Tedesco), Fountain Run, KY; Eric Deckard, New Salisbury, Indiana and Clayton Deckard, Sellersburg, IN; 1 daughter: Ashley Deckard and fiance’, Joey Martin, Scottsville, KY; 3 brothers: Jr. Deckard, Jesse Deckard and Terry Deckard, all of Tompkinsville, KY; 1 sister: Linda Montgomery, Bowling Green, KY; 5 grandsons: Jeremiah Chase Steen, Jordan Luke Steen, Chase Alexander Deckard, Lucas Xavier Deckard and Grayson James Deckard. He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Sammy Deckard and 1 sister: Lola Fox. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro.

Stephen Bratcher officiating and burial in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
