David Maurice Davis, lifelong resident of Greensburg, passed away July 20, 2018. He was 73 years old. David dedicated his life to his family and will be remembered for embracing marriage as a true partnership and teaching his daughters the power of kindness, determination and hard work, while encouraging them to still make time to embrace life’s simple pleasures.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Dadrea (Zeller) Davis; his three loving daughters and their partners, Michelle Davis-Judd and Howard Judd, of Greensboro, NC; Lisa Davis Purcell and Jack Purcell, of Nashville, TN; and Natalie Davis Rizzi of Greensburg and Sam Hunter, of West Mifflin. David loved his four grandchildren, Colin Rizzi, and Avalon, Lilah and Vivian Judd; celebrated relationships with lifelong friends; and enjoyed the companionship of his dog Chet. He is proceeded in death by his parents Harry “Fish” Davis and Rose Phillips Davis.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Bruno Roman Catholic Church, South Greensburg.
