OBITUARY DAVID N BLAISDELL July 20, 1932 – November 2, 2018 David N. Blaisdell, 86, of Seekonk and formerly of Swansea passed away Friday, November, 2, 2018. He was the husband of Barbara (Mitchell) Blaisdell, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Mr. Blaisdell served in the 82nd Airborne during the Korean Conflict.

He was the former manager of the Bluffs Recreation Center at Ocean Grove. An avid bowler, he enjoyed playing card games and was a fan of the Red Sox, Celtics and Giants. In addition to his wife survivors include: his children, Janyce Paquin and Jeffrey Blaisdell, both of Seekonk; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Richard and Stanley Blaisdell. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd. , Swansea.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 42 Green St., Newburyport, MA 01950. Visitation 10:15 -10:45 AM in the church prior to mass. Burial in Belleville Cemetery, Newburyport.
