David’s Obituary BREWER, David Paul – of Lapeer, age 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 21, 2019. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11:30 AM Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd.

, Davison. Visitation will begin at 11 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial of cremated remains will be in Davison Cemetery immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association or live plants would be greatly appreciated. David was born in Flint, MI on August 19, 1948, son of Joseph and Lorene (Scott) Brewer. He graduated from Lapeer High School class of 1966.

David was employed as a bricklayer with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, Local 2-MI for 40 years. David loved and enjoyed all of his friends and family and was well known for his quick-wit and caring demeanor. He was also known for showing up for morning visits with Max’s doughnuts.

David is survived by his two children, David Brewer, Jr. of Lapeer and Kimberly Enright of Lapeer; grandchildren, Justin, Carter and Carson; great-granddaughter, Mariah; siblings, Michael Brewer and Peggy (Joseph) Jackson; best friend and ex-wife, Renee Miles. David is also survived by two nieces, two great-nephews and one great-niece. Also, many beloved cousins and close friends.
