Nancy’s Obituary SCHAENZER, Nancy – of Davison, age 88, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 at her residence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr.

Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday, 12-3 PM and 5-8 PM Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd.

, Davison, MI 48423. A Rosary will be prayed 6 PM Friday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. John’s Catholic Church. Nancy was born in Peru, IL on November 14, 1930, daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Hardebeck) Hebel. She married John Schaenzer on February 14, 1953.

He preceded her in death on March 9, 2002. Nancy was an Army wife and loved her family. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church where she at one time was the Parish Council Secretary and worked Bingo.

Nancy was a volunteer at the library. She loved to read, travel, play tennis, bowl and play bridge. Nancy is survived by her children, Linda, John, James, Thomas, Rebecca, Marta (John Farber), Patricia; son-in-law, Rob Langdon; grandchildren, Catacy, Brendan, Daniel, Kyle, Jake, John, Hannah, Erin, Matthew, Zoe, Natali, Benjamin, Kendell, Jillian; great-grandchildren, Malachi, Leah, Addison, Jeremiah, Weston, Josephine, Leo, Rina, Noah, June; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, John; son, Peter; daughter, Julia; infant daughter, Margaret; parents and seven of her eight siblings. Please share your thoughts with the family at www. allenfuneralhomeinc.com.
