Robert’s Obituary KRAUSE, Robert – of Burton, age 91, passed away March 7, 2019 at his residence. Cremation has taken place. A burial of cremated remains with Military Honors will be held 1 PM Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd.

, Holly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). Robert was born in Flint, MI on January 24, 1928, son of the late Lester Irvin and Irene (Wood) Krause.

He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army for two tours and played softball. Robert designed and made board games, bringing families together for laughs. Bob loved socializing with everyone !

To have family and friends around brought great joy to him. He enjoyed playing golf, achieving a hole in one, bowling, square dancing. He loved to watch all sports.

Robert loved to take family out to eat and treat them. You could see the joy in his face when the grandkids were around. He was the greatest tinker ever and had whatever you needed to fix anything.

Robert loved to share war stories and was a member of the VFW. Most of all, he loved his family and friends. Robert worked at AC Spark Plug for 30 years.

Robert is survived by his significant other, Annabel; children, Rickey Krause, Judy (Paul), Terry (Linda), Russ (Renee), Tom (Karen), and Karen (Tom); grandchildren, Cary (Jen), Ché (Melissa), Heather, Allexandria, Douglas and many other grandchildren ; 37 great-grandchildren; sister, Jeannine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; sons, Dennis and Douglas. Please share your thoughts with the family at www.
