Donald Edward McGuirt, age 80, of 1414 Fairview Church Road, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at his home. He was born in Newberry, SC and was a son of the late Joseph Henry McGuirt and Mary Lois Nabors McGuirt. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, he loved his chicken, feeding the dogs, and splitting wood when he was able.

Mr. McGuirt is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, his loving caregivers of over 30 years, Ronald and Christie McGuirt; his nieces and nephews, Rhonda Sue Tinsley and Larry Prewitt; Teresa and David Wicker, Leigh Ann and John McCarley and their children, Chase, Noah, and Dalana; Justin and Kayla Tinsley and their children, Kyleigh and Lynleigh; Chelsea and Brandon Prewitt and their daughter, Hayslee; Jessica Johnson and children, Kolby, Trystan, and Eli; Jamey and Brooke Frazier and their children, Cason, Bryleigh, and Ellee; Kevin Johnson and Savannah. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 11 AM at the Fairview Baptist Church, will burial to take place in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary.
