Jack’s Obituary LINN, Jack Conrad – of Flint, MI, age 75, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, March 11, 2019 at East Flint Church of the Nazarene, 3515 North Belsay Road, Flint, MI 48506; Rev. Jason Crum officiating.

Interment, with Military Honors, will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-6 PM Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Monday, March 11, 2019 at East Flint Church of the Nazarene. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in Jack’s memory.

Jack was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 12, 1943, son of the late Grady and Inez (Jenkins) Linn. He was a graduate of Southside High School in Bee Branch, Arkansas Class of 1961. Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1961-1964.

He married Mary Oderkirk on June 29, 1968. Jack retired from General Motors in 2007 after more than 40 years of service. He enjoyed riding his bike, running in the Crim, walking the Mackinac Bridge, gardening and his true love was supporting all of the free events in Flint, MI.

Jack was a member of East Flint Church of the Nazarene. He was known for never losing his strong Ozark dialect after living in Michigan more than 50 years. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Jewell Linn; 3 children, Jack Linn, Dana Duffy and Josh Linn; 5 grandchildren, Riley Duffy, Braden Duffy, Raegan Duffy, Maxwell Linn and Lucy Linn; 2 brothers, Gary (Laura) Linn and Danny (Susie) Linn; many other loving family members and very dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Linn and brother, Randy Linn. Please share your thoughts with the family at www.
