Connie’s Obituary BENNETT, Connie Kay (Workman) – of Flint, MI, age 63, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held in the spring of 2019 in Flint, MI and in the summer of 2019 at Jellystone Park in Grayling, MI.

Connie was born in Huntington, West Virginia on January 17, 1956, daughter of the late Andy Nelson and Estella Jo (Varney) Chancellor. She was a graduate of Kearlsey High School Class of 1974. After graduation, Connie married her childhood sweetheart Michael Bennett on March 8, 1975 in Flint, MI.

Connie was employed at Kearsley Middle School retiring in 2014 after 25 years of service. She enjoyed trips to the casino, camping and fishing especially spending time with her family at Jellystone Park. Connie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Michael; 3 daughters, Jennifer Sutherby, Carol (Steven) Neumann and LeeAnn (Robert) Curtis; 12 grandchildren, Allison, Brandon, Bailey, Aaron, Hannah (Dylan), Reegan, Brooklyn, Isabelle, Kristopher, Alexandria and Gracie; mother-in-law, Blanche Bennett; dear friends, Heather, Josey, Lori, Andy, Don, Stacy and Adam; in-laws, Jimmy (Diane) Bennett, Johnny (Cheryl) Bennett, Robert (Tammy) Bennett, Mark (Elise) Bennett and Richard (Angie) Bennett; sister-in-law, Janet Yard; many other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Steven Allen Bennett; son-in-law, Scott Sutherby; brother-in-law, Bill Bennett; father-in-law, William Bennett and brother-in-law, Mike Yard. Please share your thoughts with the family at www.
