David R. Trobaugh, 71, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin. David was born December 17, 1947 to Olen and Maxine “Jones” Trobaugh. David was a longtime Carthage resident and psychiatrist.

He worked at Nevada Regional Hospital, Counseling Center of Carthage, the Heartland Hospital and Willow Crest Hospital in Miami, OK. David is survived by J.J. Hight-Trobaugh, daughter Sydney Harlin of the home and three children of Broken Arrow, OK, Aric Trobaugh, Jason Trobaugh and Kelli Trobaugh. He is also survived by one brother, Richard L. Trobaugh of Baldwin City, KS.
