David Scott Auman, 60, of Terre Haute, Indiana, lost his battle with cancer, on Tuesday November 13, 2018, at Gibson Family Center For Hospice Care at Union Hospital. He was born, February 5, 1958 to the late Donald and Jessie Auman. He was the youngest of four children, two whom have proceeded him in death, Mark and Keith Auman.

Dave enjoyed playing drums, music, the outdoors, and reading. He had a great talent for carpentry and worked many jobs in that profession. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Christine Travioli (Dean); nieces and nephews Lynn Pruitt (Mike), Stephen Travioli (Cindy O’Donnell), Amber Lore, Amy Horsley (Mark), Arin Cheesman (David), Alan Auman (Jennifer Marshall); great nieces and nephews Shelby Schaffer, Madison Schaffer, Levi, Austin, and Taylor Horsley, David and Camryn Cheesman, Ethan and Owen Auman; close friends Kim Vandevier and Kim Schepper; his ex-wife and still good friend Debbie Jackson.

David wishes were cremation and no services. A private family burial will be at a later date. The family would like to thank Angie, his hospice nurse, she was a blessing.

David was one of a kind, he did things his way, up until the end. He will be missed by those who knew him.
