Obituary for David Newton Mr. David Walker Newton of the Poplar Trails community, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at his home. David was born October 25, 1959 in Concord to the late J.B. Newton, Jr. and Helen Melchor Newton. He graduated from Concord High School Class of 1977, and later was employed by The Dryer Vent Wizard.

David was a hard working guy, who above all was a loving family man. David is survived by his wife, Paula A. Ward, and son, David W. Newton, Jr., both of the home; daughter, Ashley N. Newton of Charlotte; and brothers, Johnnie B. Newton III of Concord, and Scott Newton of Kernersville. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
