David “Papa Bear” Walter Moser, Sr., 83, passed from this life on January 9, 2019. He was born on October 16, 1935 to parents Ralph and Frances Moser in Peabody, Massachusetts. He was known by his family as an exceptional husband, father, and grandfather.

David was a dedicated supporter of the Boy Scouts, and long-time member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was heavily involved in the Huffman School System as well as the lives of their students. He was a valued member of the community… Read More » who never met a stranger.

He enjoyed talking to anyone he met, especially children. David is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Louise Moser; children, David Jr., and wife Janie Moser, Bobby and wife Bambi Moser, Michael Moser, Sherri and Thomas Williams, Terri and Billy Arceneaux; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Boy Scouts of America in David’s memory.

In honor of his wishes, no funeral will be held; but a celebration of his life will take place at his families’ home.
