Mr. David Wayne Montgomery, age 74, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Life Care Center in Bruceton, Tennessee. Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Thursday, January 24, 2019 in the Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Independence Cemtery in Henderson County, Tennessee.

Brother Wayne Holmes will officiate. David will be remembered as one who provided professional construction management services throughout the United States prior to being employed at Norandal and becoming a local business owner and always enjoyed his fishing days. David was born November 3, 1944 in Linden, Tennessee to the late Connie Lee & Bennie Louise Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Andra McCaslin; one half-sister, Rhea Todd; and three half-brothers, Kenneth W. Montgomery, Marvin Montgomery, & Wylie Montgomery. He is survived by his daughter, Jean (Robin) Drinkard of Cedar Grove, Tennessee; son, Michael (Bonnie) Montgomery of Dover, Arkansas; sister, Beckie (Larry) Kirby of Huntingdon, Tennessee; grandchildren, C.J. Baker, Mason Baker, Daniel Freman, Brandie Blalack, Christopher McCaslin, & Tiffany Frye; and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM.
