Edward Heffinger September 05, 1928 – January 04, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mr. Edward Heffinger, 90 of Trenton Michigan, formerly of Clarksburg, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Brookdale Senior Living in Adrian, Michigan. A memorial service will be at the Great Lake National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan, where military honors will be given sometime in June 2019. Mr. Heffinger was born September 5, 1928 in Michigan and was a Korean War Air Force veteran.

He moved to Clarksburg in 1966 where he was a former history teacher and principal of Clarksburg School. In 1971 he had moved back to Trenton, Michigan and retired from the school system. After his retirement he became a city councilman and then city treasurer for Trenton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Heffinger and one daughter, Gail Heffinger. He is survived by three daughters, Robin Simpson (husband Danny), Jill Beauregard (husband John), Gwen Heffinger (husband Dennis Lucas), two sisters, Gail Mitchell and Loretta Yount. He also leaves seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
