He went to school here and was in the class of ’72 Sehome High School. He loved sports, both playing and watching, especially the Seahawks. He was commercial fisherman and fished from San Francisco to Dutch Harbor Alaska. He never passed a chance to pass on a story. He started painting when he was seventeen and he painted the name on the Stingray.

He did it in Old English script and he was so proud of it. It did look good. Through around 45 years he painted signs that have been seen so many people, through the years his signs include the likes of The Web Locker, Dos Padres, The Fairhaven Pharmacy, MidTown Motors, the stack at Oser Cedar, The Royal Inn, Louis Auto Glass Side Muriel , and many many more.
