Obituary for Davie Glen Adams Print Velma – Graveside Services for Mr. Davie Adams, 65, of Velma are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the New Velma Cemetery with Bruce White officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Velma. Davie was born November 10, 1953 at Duncan to the late Mr. Raymond Lee Adams and Mrs. Jessie Marie (Eason) Adams.

He departed this life Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Duncan. Davie grew up in the Velma area graduating from Velma High School Class of 1972. Mr. Adams was a dedicated employee for Quality Carriers as a truck driver for over 23 years.

Davie was very proud of his 5 million miles with no accidents, as he would say “5 million miles and nobody got killed”. Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Dustin Glen Adams January 13, 1984. Survivors include daughters, Brandi Burns of Durant, Deonna Carter and husband Doug of Norman, Glenna Price of Durant; brother, Virgil Adams of Velma; 1st Wife, Linda Anderson of Noble; Second wife, Donna Adams of Durant; special friend, Karen Bullock of El Reno; 3 granddaughters; 5 grandsons; 1 great grandson and one on the way; numerous other family and friends.
