Dayle R. Watson June 13, 1949 – May 06, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Dayle Rita Watson, age 69, a resident of Roseville, Michigan passed on Monday, May 6, 2019 in her home. She was born on June 13, 1949 in Detroit to the late Benjamin and Lillian (Pryor) Franklin. On July 25, 1970 in Detroit, she was united in marriage to Ronald Watson.

Together they shared over 38 years of marriage before he passed on April 28, 2009. Dayle was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and babysitting for many friends and family over the years. She loved cooking, baking, sewing, cross stitching, and scrapbooking.

Dayle could often be found in the company of her feline companions “Baby” and “Jewels” while watching the latest episode of General Hospital or the Hallmark channel. She is survived by five children; Michael (Donna) Watson, Melitta Watson-McCoy, Crystal Cornelius, Shondra Watson, and Steven (Ginger) Watson, nine grandchildren; Heather, Cody, Destinee, Mackenzie, Jacob, Evan, Caidyn, Ronnie, and Savannah, great-granddaughters Autumn and Leia with #3 arriving soon, and her brother Chris (Sue) Franklin. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers Tony and Kenny Franklin.

Cremation arrangements entrusted to the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main Street, Mount Clemens. Memorial donations in memory of Dayle may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Share memories with the family at www.
