Dean’s Obituary WYATT, Dean E. – Of Grand Blanc, age 85, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 at Bristol Road Church of Christ, G-1315 West Bristol Road, Flint, Pastor Mark Cox officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bristol Road Church of Christ.

Visitation 12 p.m.– 8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mr. Wyatt will be at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service. Dean was born in Flint, Michigan on June 15, 1933 the son of the late Thomas and Velma Wyatt.

He was a member of the Lion’s Club, President of the Beecher Club and Grand Blanc Club. He enjoyed cutting and polishing stones into jewelry and also golfing. Dean retired from Tastee and Schaefer Bread companies after 47 years of service.

Following his retirement, he was employed by Swartz Funeral Home for 18 years. Surviving are his children, Lynda Ruther of Denver, Colorado, Pamela and husband Pastor Mark Cox of Grand Blanc, Paula and husband Bill Shaw of Flint Township and Ross Wyatt of Flint; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; brother, Gerald and wife Joan Wyatt of Flint Township; 2 sisters, Sandy Pigeon of Davison and Betty Stockinger of Davison; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dymple Faye; brother, Dan Wyatt and sister, Kate Weaver.
